Standing forward bend

Generally referred to as Uttanasana, when we perform this exercise, our nerves get relaxed. This helps in reducing stress and anxiety, which are widely known as triggering condition for fibromyalgia.

To perform this exercise, we need to stand by keeping our feet slightly wide. Then, with our hands, we have to touch the ground without bending our knees. That means, we have to bend our body from the hip area.

Warrior Pose

Warrior Pose proves to be very helpful in relieving the pain from muscle cramps. Often referred to as Virabhadrasana, the yoga pose should not be performed by a person who is suffering from heart conditions. Other than that, the pose helps us in stretching our shoulder as well as calf muscles.

Corpse Pose

Many might not be aware of this term as it is widely referred to as “Shavasana”. This pose helps us in relaxing our mind and tends to calm the nervous system. It also helps us in controlling our blood pressure.
