If you have decided to have a vacation in France, we can tell you it is one of the best decisions you have ever made. France offers an unparalleled variety of tourist spots, a unique blend of historical and cultural sites while still being one of the most modern metropolises in the world. 1) Eiffel Tower

This needs no introduction. Eiffel tower is known around the world for its unique design and enormous size and structure. It has three levels for visitors; first two for dining and the upper most for viewing.

2) Louvre

This one is for art lovers. Louvre is the most visited art museum in the world. You will treat your eyes with the masterpieces like Leonardo Di Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Veronese’s Wedding Feast in at Cana and thousands of other collectibles. The collection is so huge you cannot completely see it in a day, so better plan the section you are most interested in, in advance.

3) Arc de Triomphe

Another popular tourist attraction in Paris, Arc de Triomphe is known for historical background. It is a huge monument, with names of soldiers who fought in French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars inscribed on it. You can reach the attic at the top via lift and witness the magnanimity of the city Paris. You can also visit the museum therein to learn more about the structure of this fabulous emblem of war and rich history the country has.

4) Disney Land Paris

Disney Land Paris is a resort in the suburbs of Paris. In addition to the main theme parks i.e. the older Disney Land Park and the newer Walt Disney Studios Park, the resort comprises of hotels and an all purpose complex for shopping, dining and recreation. If you have kids along, this is a must go-to place.

5) Cannes

Cannes is a famous and modern city, located along the Mediterranean coast line in the southern east of the country. The city is known for hosting the well-known, ultimately chic and modern Cannes Film Festival. The overall mood of the city is luxurious and contemporary. You will find plenty of hotels, beaches, churches and museums and enjoy your time a lot.

6) French Alpes

French Alpes are the breathtakingly beautiful portion of Alpes Mountain Range that falls in French territory along with sharing border countries. The variety of mountaineering activities will satiate the adventurous instinct of yours! So pack up and get going. The mountains are calling!

7) Villages

To a lot of people’s surprise, France is home to a number of small, picturesque villages with deep cultural footings. There is in fact an association named ‘Les Plus Beaux Villages de France’ whose purpose is to promote such villages. If you are a nature lover and long for tranquility, you should include a visit to a few villages in France to reconnect with nature in its purest form.
