How Vehicle Mounted Air Compressors Work?
Air compressors work by using a system of reservoirs that hold pressurized air. When pressure is applied to the air, this pushes the air through a series of tubes which expel the air out of the cylinders.

This piston forces the air through the system functions to push the air back up into the tank and expel it from the system.

The way the Pneumatic system is arranged to function is somewhat similar to the simple oil motor as well. A number of chambers within the piston, as well as one outside the piston, are positioned in such a way that they work together to work against the external force. By using various shapes as well as sizes of these chambers, this system is much more efficient than the hydraulic system.
